February 19: "WOAH--WHAT'S THAT?" "The Silence." "Oh, cool." *Blink* "WOAH--WHAT'S THAT?"

Like most young teenagers lately, I adore Doctor Who. I'm not gonna be all hipster and say "I was into Doctor Who before it was a thing", because it's not true. I only learned about it after it got really popular in America, and I've hardly seen any of the Doctors 1-8, but I still love it with a fiery passion. And I'm not ashamed to say that I LOVE the current doctor. Matt Smith is hilarious and pretty close to David Tennant in my book.

I also love some of the new monsters and plots being written into the latest seasons with Matt Smith. The Silence are good example of the awesomely terrifying new monsters. UMMMM--ACTUALLY, "The Silence" is the name of the religious movement, not the alien race leading it... Yeah, yeah, yeah, same difference. Anywho, The Silence are basically what I imagine a dementor would look like if you lifted it's hood. And something really crazy cool about them is that the moment you look away, or you blink, they are erased from your memory!

Oh right, back to the sketching part of this post... The following is a sketch I did of the head of a Silence:

Not the greatest quality... Cause I was watching Doctor Who at the time... (Heh.) But you get the picture, right? :)
