February 17: Fall of the Rose

Inspired by my deep dislike of the Doctor's companion, Rose. I'm sorry, but I will never get over the way she treated Mickey. And the fact that she seems incapable of closing her mouth. Amy and Rory could beat her in a Yahtzee game ANY DAY! (Because clearly Yahtzee is the only way to measure greatness.)

February 6: A 2 minute sketch of my little bro

This is a sketch of my little brother, CT, that I did on the 6th.

I feel so guilty....

OH my goodness! I haven't posted here in ages! Don't worry, I have all my art saved up... I just need to find the time to post it... Heh. I promise, I'll do it soon!

February 5: Thoughts as I ride my bicycle.

On Sunday, my family forced me to go on a bike ride. 

And. It. Was. Pain.

I know what you're thinking, "MY GOD, WOMAN! It's just a bike ride! Are you really that out of shape?" My answer is YES. YES I AM. Well sort of. 

To be fair.... the "quick bike ride", as described by this vile family of mine, ended up lasting around 6 hours. The bike I was riding was also new, and it's seat was SO uncomfortable, I'm pretty sure I have bruises in places NO ONE should have bruises. Yeah. It was also the type of bike where the seat is level with the handlebars, which I had never tried to ride before. It left me all hunched over afterwards... I felt like I ought to be standing in a tower, ringing a bell and falling in love with a curvy gypsy gal or something.

I blame my father. He's going through his mid-life crisis where he's OBSESSED with his physical fitness. He's been buying new bikes, measuring calorie intake, researching local gyms... And now he's decided to start buying me bikes apparently. But as he says, "Better bikes than blondes."

Anywho, here is a little doodle I did to express my emotions after those six torturous hours.

Obviously, I am not an athletic person.

But I've got to say, by the end of it, though my back and my behind hurt like HELL, I kind of liked the ride overall. And I think I have warmed up to the bicycle too. It's cute and orange and apparently the model my dad had when he was younger. It's all fancy and french or something. 

In fact, I think I might have no choice but to become a bike nerd, if only for my dad's sake. So maybe I'll do a post about my SWEET RIDE sometime, on my main blog. ;)

February 4: Head munching parasite hat!

Yup. This is a drawing of one of my favorite hats. It's just this knitted orange hat with big eyes and tentacle thingies on top. Not sure what it's actually supposed to be, so I just call it my head munching parasite hat! WOOOO!

January 31: Scribbled Flower

I started off scribbling randomly on the paper out of frustration, but then I turned it into a purty flower! You like?

January 30: Cat mermaid.

No, you didn't read that wrong. I was drawing a cartoon cat because I was too lazy to draw anything hard, but then I realized my lethargy was so crippling I couldn't even bring myself to draw its legs!! So I gave him a fish tail instead and now I call it the Cat mermaid. Because Mercat just sounds stupid.

January 29: And did I mention that I love you?

Valentine's is coming up, and I was thinking about it while sitting around watching TV. This is the result. And no, this isn't some weird girlish manifestation of a big crush or anything. I was just bored. I WAS JUST BORED. O.o

January 28: I paint rainbows. Yes, yes I do.

This is a block I painted on for our neighbors' super adorable twin babies! I'm not much of a painter really, but I can do simple things like rainbows soooo... that's what I did. :P
